Thanks to a world-class institutes collaboration COSMED has developed Q-NRG, a compact and reliable indirect calorimeter to measure Resting Energy Expenditure (REE) in mechanically ventilated or spontaneously breathing patients in compliance with latest ESPEN Guidelines on clinical nutrition in the intensive care unit. COSMED PEA POD is important in helping the NICU team optimize nutrition for premature babies and infants by calculating the amount of lean mass and body fat.
