Harpenden Anthropometer

The instrument provides precise, direct measurements with an accuracy of up to 1 mm, covering a measurement range from 50 mm to 570 mm. It is primarily made from lightweight anodized aluminium with a natural finish. The sliding mechanism is fitted with miniature ball-bearing rollers, ensuring smooth, stable movement without lateral play.

Each unit comes in a durable carrying case and includes straight and curved measuring branches, a spare counter, and beam extensions for measuring heights up to 2 metres. When the beam extensions are used, a fixed constant should be added to the counter reading for accurate results.
